assigned to the 775th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, Utah; killed Jan. 7 by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device while performing duties in the Baghdad area. Also killed were Senior Airman Elizabeth A. Loncki and Senior Airman Daniel B. Miller Jr.

All I know from my own experience is that the more loss we feel the more grateful we should be for whatever it was we had to lose. It means that we had something worth grieving for. The ones I’m sorry for are the ones that go through life
not knowing what grief is.

I was just doing a tribute page to Tim on my blog, and was looking for pictures and such when I ran across this.
Tim and I went to EOD School together in ‘90-’91, and we were good friends. I heard about his death from another EOD guy that I still have contact with, and was very saddened by the news.
If anyone knows how to contact his wife, please point her to my site listed above…I would very much like to pass on my deepest sympathies to her if possible.
