We recently met Steve Otto at the Scratch My Back benefit concert. He just got back from a long trip to find out what the BOCC is trying to do with wetlands protection. Shortly after that was written, Otto was sent to the hospital with a heart problem. We here in the Sticks wish him a speedy recovery.

Tampa blogger Nick Starr was first in line to get an iPhone on Friday. Both the Tribune and the Times covered the iPhone frenzy, and the technology consultant was pubbed in both dailies. It was sorta shocking to see his mug pasted on the front of the Trib business section on Saturday.
