What you have in your mind, your talents, your native abilities, no one can take from you. When you die, you take them with you. Use them diligently while you are here.

Chris was a good friend of my son’s and was truly a remarkable young man. He could walk into a room of strangers and come out with a room full of friends. He was extremely loyal to his friends and went out of his way to show that loyalty. My son is gay, but it never mattered to Chris - he was still his friend and while he could tease him, he never let anyone else say derogatory things to my son. His loss still saddens us beyond comprehension - I have a picture of the two of them on my cell phone and it will be there forever just as Chris will always be in our hearts. I especially think of his family as we get closer to the holidays - their first without Chris and my love, thoughts and prayers are with them.
