extra florida question
Are you contemplating a move anywhere? Usually, if you are thinking about moving to another part of the country, you might check into a few things about the place where you are going. Typically, your research would include answering these three questions:
- What’s the job market like?
- Can I afford the house, the insurance, the taxes, AND the utilities?
- Will the kids get a decent education?
However, when moving to the FLA, you would think folk would add just one more question:
- What’s the deal with these hurricane thingys?
But apparently, they are not.

One point from the article, it’s not that one needs to drive 200 miles away to stay safe, one must go that far away to find a non-gouging hotel room with at least some minimum standard of housekeeping.

Forget about the hurricanes. Think clearly about transpotation from county to city, parks for your children, safe and secure roads to and from elementary, middle school, high school, and local colleges. Wheel chair and handicapped facilities for everyone. Libraries equipped with necessities for learning. Is there early voting and absentee voting. Is this agrowing community or a decling community-due to firings, layoffs, storesand restaurants closing etc. etc. etc. etc. Remember this is a family discission.
