Comparing college teams to NFL franchises is tricky for a number of reasons. The most obvious comparison, winning percentage, is a weak measure since football teams play so few games and such unbalanced schedules. In defense of the Bucs they have to play other teams of comparable skill level while USF plays such power houses as Elon and Florida Atlantic (in fact, college football guru Phil Steele gives USF the 70th most difficult schedule). The NCAA produces at least one undefeated team every year, while only one team in NFL history has gone undefeated.

Ski, does that compare to winning and losing? The NFL product is different than College, I can agree with you on that... That being said, the question wasn't "do you like the Bucs more than the Bulls?" It was about who would be the better on-field team in 2007.

As much as I love our Buccaneers, whoever it was that voted for them in this poll is delusional.

The most important football game in Tampa Bay will take place in Raymond James, but not on a Sunday.

Mark it, Friday night, #2 WVU, USF will arrive for good. Be there! They're opening up the upper deck due to demand for tickets.

The Bucs are in shambles with or without injuries. They are put togeter on a wing and a prayer by Gruden/Allen. The USF Bulls might not be national title contenders but I expect them to play with more heart than Los Buccaneeros.
