Looking at the applicants, I can understand the board wanting to have an engineer and they had three choices. Given the choice between Boots (certainly knows developers but is not a TBBA member or a pro-development extremist), Tran (TBBA member), and Mai (shameless TBBA puppet)we can obviously see how TBBA, and therefore the BOCC, voted. One last thing, I just looked at the TBBA website and noticed they have a link to the planning commission website under government affairs! How fitting. . .
