top ten bulls?
If you ask Bulls Fans, the USF Bulls 21-13 win over #5 West Virginia should vault South Florida into the top ten ranking.
But listening to the ESPN2 broadcast last night, and College GameDay this morning, it sounds as if the national pundits suggest that West Virginia played badly.
Looked to me like both teams were slugging the snot out of each other. USF slugged harder, and held on.

If it was my vote — I wouldn’t put USF anywhere near the top ten. Is that Defens a killer? Damn right… But the offense - which has great potential - can’t find a rhythm or enough of one.
That being said, despite my criticism, USF proved to me the Mountineers shouldn’t be ranked. Pat White (their starting QB) looked like nothing special. It Jarret Brown (their backup - correct me on the name if I am wrong please people) looked more capable and had better stature in the pocket than White.
But I digress on the negativity — that game wasn’t even close last night and it’s a day of further celebration for Bull fans!

is USF a top ten team? nope, but they are damn close to it. put ‘em in at #13 or #12, and throw them in the top ten if they beat rutgers on the road.
in the mountaineers defense they played w/o pat white for what appeared to be the entire second half. and steve slaton is legit, limiting him to 50 odd yards of rushing speaks highly of the Bulls D.
also, it should be noted USF has what appears to be an easy schedule the rest of the way out, what with the recent collapes of Lousiville and Rutgers (currently working on that against the Terps).

well…it’s all in front of them now. the path is plain….win out…win the Big East and you’ll play in a BCS bowl game.
Truth to be told though….USF is not ready for the next level….not yet.
Who cares though….win the Big East and get the BCS payday.

Ski — Pat White was doing nothing… absolutely NOTHING against the Bulls defense. I found Brown, his backup, to be a better performer in the backfield — you know, of a caliber above a razzle-dazzle QB. USF took the Dazzle out of the razzle early on and it rattled the Mountineers.
#6 in the nation… Oh my… There’s a big X on the Bulls chest now as expectations just went through the roof.
Oh, one last thing: if thise College football season has shown fans across the United States anything, it’s that there is no such thing as an easy schedule.
