We do not know how many acres of wetlands will be filled in as a result of EPC's approach or worse yet, the state's approach and what the cumulative impacts will be. Will it result in added storm water runoff laced with farm chemicals from fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and manuer that will end up in our waterways; will it cause flooding for neighboring landowners; will it dry up their neighbors well?; is it just a ploy to make it easier to convert to development use? Why would any of this be acceptable to our county commissioners? I have been following this issue and agree with Mariella’s comments.
