Why are we not surprised? This is another example of business-as-usual for the BOCC and the county administrator. We wonder:
1) Is Ms. Bean is being blatantly insubordinate?
2) Is she following orders from certain members of the BOCC in ignoring their agreed upon position?
3) Is this but one Kafka-esque step in the continuing metamorphosis of the BOCC from a public board to–well–WHAT?

We thank Commissioners Ferlita and Sharpe for attempting to act for the people. And, we thank Mariella Smith for her eloquence in pulling together the opinions of many and putting them into words.

This reeks of political shadiness. The public needs to be aware of this. I am glad that sticksoffire exists, the media is just not picking up enough stories about the dirty dealings of our elected officials.
