Coming Soon: Tommy’s Grill and Bar and Day Care Center.
And ya gotta feel some love for the patron who at least gets it in the right sequence:
“… Christen Clifford, a writer and actress proudly recalled breast-feeding her son, Felix, at the bar before ordering a martini.”
So – where are the toddler-friendly bars in Tampa Bay?

If there are any I want to stay out of them! That is one thing that does bother me, kids at bars, concerts and other adult venues. It makes you feel like you can not be yourself as an adult because of the kids there. Anywhere there are adult beverages being served as the main event, kids should not be there! That is for their safety and our enjoyment of course. Then what makes me madder is when the kids are there and the parents are drinking and then driving the kids home! Pay for the baby-sitter!

what about restaurants that serve adult beverages? should kids stay out of them too? no Chili’s, Bennigan’s, Outback, Ruby Tuesday for the kids? i trust we’ll never see Wifey at any of these places?
or are those places “different?”
happy valentines!

At those places (Restaurants) adult beverages are not the main purpose of going there, the food is. A bar that serves some food is the kind of places the article is talking about as well as what I’m talking about. I threw in concerts and such because I see 4 and 5 year olds at old classic rock concerts and I just don’t agree with it. I go there to kick up my heels and I don’t want to kick a small child.

I hear ya, Wifey. The Poison/Ratt show in Orlando last summer was swarming with children. It was ridiculous.

That’s great…so now parents may drink too much. Next it will be Tits and Toddlers for a strip club! LOL!

All Stars Tavern, occupying the old Point After Pub location on Hanley Road in Town N Country, has a family friendly atmosphere. A sign by the front door boldy warns away unacompanied minors. Families are welcome. They also have a full menu and many games and amusements to keep the kiddies occupied.
