The best way to make a living in the arts in the Tampa Bay area: First, get a day job.
Apologies in advance to those fighting the good fight. My cynicism results from the fact that I HAVE tried to make a living in the arts here, and the best I could do was “almost a living.”
Unless you manage to a)land high-paying clients for your art b)succeed on a level that attracts national attention c)live at home with mom and dad or d)marry a sugardaddy or sugarmama, you’re going to find it practically impossible to pay all the bills via your artistic output.
