And The Carl? South Florida might "already thinks it's the center fo the universe" but that doesn't go into the fact the Florida government's priorities are alienating people. Instead of 50 we should have something like 10. Seriously, with the stripping down of the 10th amendment to mean almost nothing, we've lost most of the reason why states are separate anyway. I mean, it's not like they'd be allowed to secede or anything. (And that's a conversation for another time.) Why not use that to our advantage, create LESS states, and save ourselves some of the money that would otherwise be spent on duplicate bureaucratic costs?
