Their representation of the citizenry and stewardship of our environment are excellent. Thanks also to Mariella Smith and Denise Layne for caring enough to lead the charge for the good of our community. Ferlita, Layne, Sharpe and Smith are local heroes who are willing to take the heat for all of us. I truly hope that our community will remember this. This is one more indication that Rose Ferlita and Mark Sharpe are two of the most competent individuals in local government. I tuned in to see part of the meeting and I was very impressed as I watched Commissioner Sharpe counter Norman's last minute attempt to direct staff on something that neither the staff or the citizens wanted. Watching Blair try to take his cues from Norman is entertaining but pathetic. Thanks to all of you who worked so hard on this effort and thank you for keeping us informed Mariella. Great Job!
