My problem is route 31 with 2 hour frequency. In fact, in the bottom 5 of performance month over month. I think it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, i.e., poor ridership=poor times between buses. I pay taxes in the county for years and years, yet unless you are on the commuter buses, you can forget service in south county. I don't mind paying more but am afraid the ax will fall soon. Last fall, HART gutted the mid day rides on route 31 going to downtown. I complained but understood the reason for doing so. I would like some info from HART on their ridership and productivity on certain routes but don't know how to really obtain it. I have looked over the board packets each month before the board meetings and can keep a tally from those numbers but are they accurate?
