As for Dave Dragon, I can't tell if you yearn for the days when tax rates were going up 15-20% annually for those without a homestead exemption. While I would love to see the rates plunge, I will happily accept an increase of 0% instead of the double digit increases in the past. No one wants talk about it. Not the Paper, not the Mayor, not our illustrious City Council. Why? because they need more money for Riverwalks, hotels, stadiums, and whatever else strikes their fancy Damn the people. So when all the Store fronts are empty, the downtown is vacant,the hotels sit empty, we can all sit back and have a big horse laugh at these idiots that run this city, pack our bags and head North to Greener pastures....
