We have the first fallout from HCBOCC’s decision to rename the county moral courage award.
The 1996 winner of the Hillsborough County Moral Courage Award gave her award back to the county.
“It’s pathetic that they would name an award for a person when it’s a nonpartisan award,” [Eileen] Hart said outside the commission chambers. “It should have nothing to do” with politics.
Alas, politics is all some BOCC members think about.

Knowing the servile BOCC, they’ll just re-award it to Ralphie. Scratch out Eileen’s name, tape Dear Leader’s name on top.

Chair Ken Hagan was a moral disgrace as he rudely kept repeating thank you to try to cut her off as she walked up and plopped the award in front of him.
Ms. Hart for Commissioner! She rocked!
