I was fortunate to bear witness to Game 7 after getting ducats from a Rays season-ticket lottery. I’m still reeling from the experience and hope it never wears off.
I still made it in to work Monday morning and put in a full day on minimal sleep, though a good many other tenants at the building where I work appeared to take the day off. It was also unusual to read the paper and see the Bucs getting treated as junior news.
One more opportunity for us to own Philly, the only sports city with worse fans than Boston. I guess I’d be a punkass too if I lost as much as them, but I hope I never find out. GO RAYS!
