In the Tampa Bay area, more than 28,000 people filed bankruptcy over the year between
Oct.1, 2008 and Sept. 1, 2009. That’s a 46% increase over the previous fiscal year, and a new record.
The Orlando division, the Jacksonville division, and the Tampa division make up Florida’s Middle District, which is the second-busiest bankruptcy district in the nation. We were beat by number one bankruptcy district in Central California.

And there are plenty more of us on the brink of bankruptcy! Food prices are through the roof, insurance prices are through the roof, etc….. When will corporate America WAKE up and realize that if we are all broke, there will not be anyone that can buy their products. Surely they do not think that their rich cronies will make up the difference! GREED is costing MORE than people realized.
I can handle being financially strapped. Been there most of my life. After busting my rear for the past 25 years and still having to struggle, it is simply not worth it anymore.
