Who’s in Town?
We all know Tampa prides itself on hospitality, and that visitors bring a lot of money in to the community. So when you see these folks around town, be sure to say hello or lend a helping hand. 
Let’s show them why Tampa Bay is the best destination in the world to visit… and live!
As you walk through the streets over the next several days, you will likely see many fans of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Clemson Tigers for this weekend’s ACC Football Championship. But they aren’t the only visitors here…
Five hundred people will be attending the annual convention for the National Workforce Association. The 2009 NWA Legislative Leadership Conference runs December 6-8, so you may see folks from all over the US roaming the streets of downtown Tampa this weekend.
About 650 Medical Doctor-types will be enjoying the sights for about five days starting Sunday. Rocky Point will be the base area for the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention’s 15th Annual Maternal & Child Health Epidemiology conference.
On a smaller scale, we will also be hosting a Scrapbook Expo. That’s right, a bunch of Scrapbookers will be exploring the Westshore area – and probably beyond – for a few days, starting today. In addition to glue guns, I’m willing to bet they will have cameras, so offer to take a photo for them!
