The WEDU Be More Award™ show is set for January 14, and voting for the People’s Choice Award is going on now through December 18.

As part of the program, the People’s Choice is driven by votes in an online poll. The poll includes a listing of all organizations that submitted an application, and allows all of us to recognize the nonprofit that most exemplifies the spirit of the community.

Already, more than 5,000 votes have been cast for groups such as the American Youth Academy, Bok Tower Gardens, Carrollwood Cultural Center, Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, Habitat for Humanity, the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County, the Humane Society, Liberty Manor for Veterans, Polk Museum of Art, Project Light of Manatee, The Spring, and many more. Vote once per day for your favorite organization through December 18.
