hannah’s whirl & more

Six new songs make their debut at Music Tampa Bay, beginning with a Tampa group with a curious name, Hannah’s Whirl, and a song called Coquina from their Headwaters CD, released just this past year.   Also new this week is a Pinellas Park singer/songwriter who performs and records with contemporary country artist Shelly Starks, but is also branching out on her own solo career.  Heather Leigh joins the MTB line-up for the first time with Learn & Live.  St Pete smooth jazz music crafter, Phil Traynor, also has a new track up this week he says is the first single from his new CD, Autumn Breeze, called Across Gibraltar.  Also from St Pete, and MTB’s number one artist this week, the Double M Band provides a new track from their 2009 CD, Lovin’ Life, called Good Bad Habit.  Wesley Chapel “Real Man”, Paul Guy Bovee sent us a new track, appearing this week for the first time that he says has been an inspiration to him many times over the years called You Are the Rose.  And finally, rounding out the new music category this week is the title track from another brand new CD from Tampa music innovator, Baluja, called Within Love’s Walls (We All Come Together).

Baluja, by the way, informs us he has been working with a unique music group for the past 7 years that provides personalized songs for seriously ill children called the Songs Of Love Foundation. He says they could use some additional support from musicians willing to donate songs to their cause.

Baluja is also this week’s MTB Feature Artist, with all 7 tracks from his newest CD, and a number of older tracks already heard in the music stream, all being heard once each hour, 24/7, all week long.
