Howdy, Sticks readers. Smitty here, representing downtown and all the wonderful things herein. As one of downtown’s handful of condominium residents NOT living on Harbour Island, I take a keen interest in the development of my neighborhood – everything from transportation and new building projects to recreation and public events. I may not have a backyard for barbecues or a lawn to mow, but I have fruit trees on my porch, a terrific view of the city lights, and a nice short commute. I’m looking forward to meeting new neighbors in this ever-changing ‘hood and telling you fine folks about them.

Smitty wrote a great series to keep us updated on the latest condo developments in the central business district, and continues to keep an eye on downtown living.
