advertising options

We offer a handful of ways to get your message out. Sidebar ads stay on all pages of the site continuously, as does the leaderboard ad. Main column ads are placed within the articles, and remain there for at least a year (and possibly forever). All advertising includes a link to your website, and a listing on the Sticks of Fire sponsors page. We insist on using the Federal Trade Commission rules in regards to internet advertising.

Sidebar advertising:

Advertising on the Sticks of Fire sidebar will allow your ad to show up on all pages within the Sticks of Fire website for the duration that you choose.

Sidebar text ads show up under display advertising on either sidebar, one line is a maximum of 25 characters, including spaces.

One week, one line – $10.
One month, one line – $35
Additional lines – $10 each/month
Bold, Italic, Color – $5 each/month
Premium Placement (Features) – $15/month

Sidebar display (banner) ads could be anywhere on either sidebar. You are responsible for creating and delivering an image for display. Page views (pv) are guaranteed. See example ad sizes.

Sponsorships are available to support individual articles or a series of related articles. Advertisers can choose a general subject to sponsor, but specific content is determined by individual writers.
